Privacy Policy

Master Electrician Guide ("the app", "we") is designed to respect your privacy. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your information.

The short version

We don't have accounts, we don't track you, we don't run ads, and we don't sell data. Your jobs, photos, estimates, and checklists stay on your device. The only data that leaves your phone is the text you choose to send to the AI assistant.

Information stored on your device

The app stores the following locally on your device using Apple's on-device storage. It is not transmitted to us:

Jobs you create (title, client name, address, phone, notes, status)
Photos you attach to jobs (stored in the app's local storage)
Estimates and line items
Checklist progress and notes
Your calculator inputs

If you delete the app, this data is removed with it. We have no copy of it.

The AI assistant

When you use the "Ask AI" feature, the text of your question (and, if provided, your selected state and code year) is sent over an encrypted connection to our processing service, which runs on Cloudflare Workers AI, to generate a response. To protect your privacy:

Send only what you need to ask your question. Do not include personal information, client names, or addresses in AI questions.
We do not require an account and do not attach your identity to questions.
Questions are used only to generate your answer. We do not sell them or use them to build advertising profiles.
AI requests are handled by Cloudflare, Inc. as our infrastructure provider, subject to Cloudflare's privacy and data-processing terms.

Camera and photo library

The app requests camera and photo-library access only so you can attach job-site photos to your jobs. Photos you add are stored locally on your device and are not uploaded to us. You can decline these permissions and still use the rest of the app.

What we don't collect

No account, login, name, or email is required to use the app.
No analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking SDKs.
No location tracking.
No selling or sharing of personal data.

Children

The app is intended for working electrical professionals and is not directed to children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "last updated" date.
